SC Math 1

Math 1 is a full year course that follows the NYS Math curriculum  requirement for graduation. It is a pre-requisite to Math 2 and the NYS Integrated Algebra Regents Exam. Throughout the year, students will build upon the math concepts they already have and expand them to develop a solid foundation for Math 2. Some of the concepts explored in Math 1 are Order of Operations, Properties of Numbers, Problem Solving, Graphing, Trigonometry, and Factoring. While this list is not inclusive, it does give an idea of the level of math the students will face.

Required Materials:  Integrated Algebra Textbook (in classroom), Math Folder with loose leaf paper, Binder (to be kept in classroom), pens and pencils, Calculator (provided for school use only), Agenda, Homework Folder
