Cohocton Elementary School

The first Monthly Celebration on October 31st was a huge hit! As part of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) our school does a Monthly Celebration where our whole school (K-4th grade) stops the academic work for about 45 minutes and simply enjoys the adults and children that make up this wonderful school community! The adults plan an activity for their mixed age/grade level group based on a special talent, hobby, craft or idea that they want to share with the children! Below lists some of the special things our children did this month:
1. Making Tacos with the Domm Family (owners of Mojo’s Tacos)
2. Making Pumpkin Magnets with Mrs. Prigge
3. Playing Memory with Mrs. Gettys
4. Learning how to make window decorations out of wax paper and crayons with Ms. Schrader
5. Frosting a cupcake for yourself and one for a friend with Mrs. Howden & Mrs. Uhl
6. Making a special pumpkin card with Mrs. Allison
7. Making a Halloween Treat Bag with Mrs. Wager
8. Frosting a Halloween cake with Jennifer Gordon and Jason Knight
9. And much, much more!
