Administrative Documents for English 9:
-
Cursive Lettering
(Remember that writing cursively is an easy 5% bonus during the first
semester, so you should be well practiced before it is required second
semester!)
-
Blank Weekly Reflection
(You will have a weekly reflection due for every week of school. I
have reserved the computer lab for Thursdays of every week to help you get
this started; however, you are still expected to reflect on what is done on
Friday. Therefore, the reflections are not due until the Tuesday of
the following week. If you are completing this away from school, be sure
to change the information and E-mail the document to me (EQuinn@wccsk12.org)
or save it and transfer it to the Quinn Folder before it is due.)
-
Independent Reading Novel Poster
(Consider doing one for first semester for extra
credit before you have a poster due at the end of the second, third, and
fourth quarters! Remember, this is the only extra credit I offer and
you must have all of your other work completed and turned in to me in order
to be eligible for extra credit.)
-
Independent Reading Novel Packets
(You must see me and have approval before completing a packet)
|
Select the appropriate packet for your novel,
using the descriptions below to help you decide. You only have to complete
one packet for the project. |
|
Affective Analysis
|
Use this packet to define an emotion or theme in your novel. |
|
Author Study |
Use this packet to discuss an author's intent
with his/her writing. |

the novel and an era in history. |
