As you know, successful completion of the English Regents exam is a graduation requirement in New York State and students take this exam their junior year of high school.  The exam tests students on skills that have been developing throughout all of their schooling, not just their current year of English. This page provides you with an overview of the exam and goes over each of the four sections more specifically.
