The Wayland
Elementary PageTurners love to read and are rewarded for
achievement in their club. For each level of reading the
students reach, there is a recognition of their
accomplishments, based on the theme of one of a book from
their reading list, Castle in the Attic. For
each level students are awarded a gold or silver coin in a
ceremony with King Campbell - who knights them personally.
Awards are given for
each semester:

PAGE -
Reads between one and three books from the list

SQUIRE -
Reads between four and seven books from the list
-
KNIGHT -
Reads between eight and eleven books from the list
-
SIR SIMON - THE
SILVER KNIGHT - Reads between eleven and fifteen
books.
