Return to Instructional Leadership Council

Program Review Committees Co-Chair

 

     The committee will be co-chaired by an administrator and past or present member of the ILC.

     Co-chairs will facilitate program review committees through the four phase cycle of the program evaluation process.

Roles/Responsibilities

     The responsibilities of the Program Review Committee Co-chair include the following:

  • Facilitate the current K-12 program under review.

  • Meet on a regular basis to discuss and analyze the current program under review.

  • provide support for all K-12 Program Review committee members.

  • Plan productive meetings.

  • Provide and submit agendas and minutes for monthly meetings.

  • Facilitate and partake in updating curriculum maps.

  • Share student performance data with staff during committee meetings.

  • Help organize research-based best practices within content area.

  • Facilitate data-based decision-making to inform program improvements.

  • Keep staff current on State and school district policies as they relate to a respective subject area.

  • Keep abreast of progress and new developments as related to their respective subject area.

  • Create and submit the Program Review Report, including recommendations.

  • Coordinate dissemination of information gathered from meetings to buildings and target audiences when appropriate.

Stipend

     Each ILC member who is a co-chair for a Program Review Committee shall receive a stipend according to the WCTA contract.
