AIM Manufacturing Videos An introductory website showing how various items are made. It covers over 40 different products and manufacturing processes, and includes almost 4 hours of manufacturing video. Think of it as your own private online factory tour, or a virtual factory tour.
American Rhetoric Index to and growing database of 5000+ full text, audio and video (streaming) versions of public speeches, sermons, legal proceedings, lectures, debates, interviews, other recorded media events, and a declaration or two.
Automatic Bibliography Composer If you are unsure of how to write a bibliographic citation, check this link out. It will allow you to input the information, and automatically generate an MLA approved bibliographic citation for you!!

Internet Public Library (IPL) Provides services and information in all kinds of areas. This site has been created by librarians and other professionals to search for web pages that have true and accurate information.
IPL Literary Criticism Contains 3,265 critical and biographical web sites about authors and their works that can be browsed by author, by title, or by literary period.
Librarians' Index to the Internet This home page offers no fewer than 14 mega-categories (from "Arts, Crafts, & Humanities" through "Society and Social Issues"), each of which is subdivided into multiple segments, and each of these offers a page of links related to that topic. For example, clicking on "Government and Law" brings up 11 subtopics under "Government" and 14 others under "Law." This is true Web-based research, and the best part is that the selections are carefully evaluated before posting. The evaluating process also weeds out purely commercial sites, again guaranteeing the pursuit of scholarship.

MapQuest This is a great site to find out where a place is located in the U.S. Also very good to give you directions from one place to another. Information for other countries is limited.
Merriam-Webster Dictionary and Thesaurus Search for meanings of words in the Dictionary or for other words to use in the Thesaurus.
Music Threapy This site is your source for information on how to help children and adolescents use popular music, something they already listen to and enjoy, as a way to express their feelings.
National Visionary Leadership Project Provides worldwide access to pivotal African American autobiographical narratives, and provides a whole new understanding of this country's past, and the lessons to be learned from it.
NetTrekker This is a great place to search the web for information on a variety of topics. All web sites found here are acceptable as research based sites since they have been evaluated for accuracy. You must have a username and password to search this site.
NewsVoyager This is a great site for checking newspapers in different states - even some of the smallest papers.
OWL This resource, updated to reflect the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (6th ed.) and the MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing (2nd ed.), offers examples for the general format of MLA research papers, in-text citations, endnotes/footnotes, and the Works Cited page.
Pics4Learning A copyright-friendly image library for teachers and students. The Pics4Learning collection consists of thousands of images that have been donated by students, teachers, and amateur photographers. Unlike many Internet sites, permission has been granted for teachers and students to use all of the images donated to the Pics4Learning collection.
Read Print Free online library. The website offers thousands of free books for students, teachers, and the classic enthusiast.

Explore Shakespeare A web site entirely devoted to William Shakespeare that will allow United States users to browse the text of his 37 plays.
Study Guides and Strategies This is a great resource to learn studying techniques and gives good examples in many subject areas including science, technology, math, and English.
The Weather Channel Check this site out for current weather information for any city or town in the U.S. This is the site for the famous channel on television. You can also get information on current storm warnings and tropical updates.
The Web MD Very useful to search and find all kinds of medical information.
World Digital Library Makes available on the Internet, free of charge, significant primary materials from countries and cultures around the world.
