Eileen Feinman, Middle School
Principal
Mrs. Feinman began working with Wayland-Cohocton in 1999
when she was hired as CSE/CPSE chairperson, where she continued for two years.
In July 2001 she moved to the Middle School Office as Co-Principal with Dee
Shanley (retired) and now serves as Middle School Principal. Before joining the
WCCS team, Mrs. Feinman worked as a school psychologist in Morrisville-Eaton
School District for four years and for three months in the same position at Mt.
Morris.
“My favorite thing about this job is interacting with the
students,” said Feinman. “They are so full of energy and excitement, you can’t
help but catch their enthusiasm. With support and guidance there isn’t anything
they can’t do. To be able to be a part of that is truly one of the most
gratifying things anyone can experience.”
As the middle school principal, Mrs. Feinman is committed
to curriculum and staff development and the supervision of faculty and staff.
“As the instructional leader of the middle school, my goal is to work with the
faculty and staff to promote and continue curriculum development, through the
framework of professional learning communities, with the ultimate goal to
improve student achievement,” said Feinman. Mrs. Feinman can always be found
talking with students or coaching on the fields of modified teams.
Mrs. Feinman is married with four children. She holds a
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, a Master’s Degree in School Psychology and a
Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration. In her spare time
Mrs. Feinman enjoys spending time with her family, all sports and eating out.
