- Hand-washing
is a simple thing, and it's the best way to help prevent infection and
illness.
- Get 30
minutes of moderate physical activity most days of the week. Raking leaves,
planting a fall garden, taking nature walks and other other outdoor
activities are a good way to stay active. Remember - Dress appropriately for
the weather and activity.
- Drive
safely. Use seatbelts and properly restrain all children age 12 or younger
in the backseat.
- Enjoy the
autumn fruits and vegetables that are in season. Look for creative recipes
and enjoy some family time in the kitchen preparing healthy seasonal dishes.
