Historical Context:
During the 1860’s, local heroes
from the Wayland-Cohocton area participated in the Civil War. Soldiers and local
town’s people made many sacrifices. These soldiers traveled to many different
places in the United States during this war.
Task:
Using information from your documents and your knowledge of social studies,
answer the questions that follow each document in Part A. Your answers to the
questions will help you write the Part B essay in which you will be asked to:
