If your school opens after Labor Day, rising seniors who wait for the
opening of school will have little or no time to
register for the October SAT®, since the
regular deadline is September 12 and the late
deadline is September 20. Please encourage current
juniors to register early, preferably before school
closes. We are asking that you notify your students
and their parents or guardians now so that this
deadline is not missed.
Students can register:
- Online at
www.collegeboard.com.
- Over the
telephone, at 1-800-SAT-SCORE (1-800-728-7267), if they have registered for
the SAT before. (There is an additional fee.)
- Using the paper
registration form, which will be in schools in
late August. Please set up a schedule for
students so they can come to school for the
forms.
Students using a fee waiver will have until the
late deadline (September 14) to register. October
will be the only test date when fee waiver
recipients can register after the regular
registration deadline. No late fees will be charged
for fee wavier recipients for the October SAT.
We have provided a
letter you can download and print on your school
letterhead to inform parents and guardians of this
schedule along with other end-of-year notices.(.pdf/23K)

if their son or daughter misses the October SAT, the
test is offered again in November, December, and
