Varsity Cheerleaders & Varsity Basketball Players to assist benefit
As a benefit for the Hometown Animal Rescue program and the Wayland American Legion Post #402 - Wounded Warriors, a luncheon and fashion show will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Wayland American Legion. Doors will open at 11:00 AM and the luncheon will be served at 12:00 PM. Pre-sale tickets for $15.00 each or 8 for $100.00. The Varsity Cheerleaders and Varsity Basketball players will be modeling the latest casual and formal wear fashions to support the benefit.
Congratulations to Cross Country Teams
Congratulations are in order for the Girls' Cross Country team, who earned 4th place at the state meet and for the Boys' Cross Country team, who earned 9th place at the state meet. Congratulations on an outstanding season!

Way-Co Varsity Soccer defeats Batavia with last-minute goal
Varsity soccer ended their last game before sections on Friday October 21, with a close score of 2-1 in a non-league tournament against Batavia.
Tough loss for JV soccer players
Wayland-Cohocton ended the game with a tough loss to Batavia with a score of 6-0. JV soccer just recently played the Blue Devils a few nights before and ended that game with a score of 7-0. It's been a disappointing season for the JV soccer players after having lost every game but one thus far. Sectionals are scheduled for Tuesday, 10/25 against Hornell.
