Six members of the Wayland-Cohocton Chapter of National Honor Society joined members of Wayland Rotary for roadside cleanup on April 24. The event was held in conjunction with Earth Day. The students along with Rotary members, donned their orange safety vests and headed out to clean up trash along the highways. Rotary members commented that with the student, the job was finished in record time.
Participating in the event were: Mia Barratt, Hannah Fairbrother, Charina Gray, Greta Huber, Thomas Mead, Jack Mulford.
Advisors for the group are Beth Gibbs and Chris Allen. The group cleaned along Routes 63, 21 and 15.
