WC Earns 2018 Wealth of Health Award

Wealth of Health Award displayed in Superintendent's OfficeIn January of 2018, Wayland-Cohocton participated in a ten-day plant-based diet challenge along with 31 other districts in our Finger Lakes Area School Health Plan wellness consortium. The results for participation were amazing with 33 staff members from WC taking part along with 3,000 other participants within the consortium. Because of participation in the challenge, WC earned the Rochester Business Journal Wealth of Health Award.

Wayland-Cohocton participants included: Anne Smart, Barb Miller, Cheri Soto, Cherry Walker, Cora Saxton, Susan Cosgriff, Danette McInnis, David Mastin, Allyson Sahrle, Dineen Snyder, Dorothy Hammers, Elizabeth Hall, Elizabeth Kurtz, Grace Robinson (Yannie), Heather Reigelsperger, Jeff Englert, Judy Bligh, Kelly Bauer, Kimberly Lucas, Linda Dean, Mary Briggs, Micki Newfang, Molly VanDelinder, Nancy Smith, Phil Trautman, Renee Bacon, Samantha Stieve, Sandi Quinlan, Sandy Schmidt, Sharon Manley, Tanya DeNee, Vanessa Smith and Wendy West.
