The WC Athletic Department is pleased to announce that Senior Connor Englert will be competing in the Rochester Ronald McDonald All Star Basketball game which highlights outstanding players from Section V. Connor will be playing at Rush-Henrietta on Saturday, March 23 at 3 p.m.and is one of three players representing the LCAA.
On March 4 the players and cheerleaders participating in the All Star game toured the Ronald McDonald house and were part of a Rochester news press conference.
On Monday, March 4th, every player and cheerleader toured the Ronald McDonald house and were part of the Rochester press conference. Tickets to the game are available from Connor and his father, Mr. Englert. If you aren't planning on attending the game, the purchase of a ticket still benefits the Ronald McDonald House.
The Ronald McDonald House provides living space for families who have seriously injured or ill child receiving medical care, and are facing long hospital stays. These homes allow families to be together during treatment or hospitalization when expenses might dictate otherwise.
