When a Kansas tornado sweeps young Dorothy and her dog Toto away to the magical Land of Oz, she finds herself on an unforgettable journey home. After landing in Munchkinland and earning the ire of the Wicked Witch of the West, Dorothy follows the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City in search of the mysterious Wizard of Oz.
Along the way, she befriends a Scarecrow who longs for a brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Lion in search of courage. Together they face flying monkeys, enchanted forests, and the Wicked Witch herself. Though the Wizard proves not to be what he seems, Dorothy and her friends discover that the qualities they seek have been within them all along.
In the end, Dorothy learns the most important lesson of all: there truly is no place like home.
