Wayland-Cohocton families looking for before or after-school childcare are reminded of the YMCA program housed on the Wayland campus. The program is available from 7 a.m. until school arrival time and from school dismissal time to 6 p.m. and is located in the Wayland-Cohocton Elementary School.
Registration materials are available in the Elementary School office on the Wayland campus by contacting Secretary Sandy Schmidt at sschmidt@wccsk12.org or by phone at (585) 728-3547. Nancy Holtz is the local supervisor and can be reached during program hours at (585) 213-4374. All participants must become a member of the YMCA in order to register for the before or after-school program. For youth the cost is $75 and a family membership is $150 per year. In addition to accessing the day-care program at Wayland-Cohocton, membership fees apply to other YMCA programs at both Hornell and Dansville.
