
Attention to all of our sports families... We are happy to announce that Fall 2023 sport registrations are open! If you have a student-athlete interested in participating on a modified, JV, or Varsity team starting in August, now is the time to get them registered for the season. There are more specific directions on the page below, but don't hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. Returning users should use their existing account, even if they are registering a new student-athlete.

Don't forget children 18 and under can get free breakfast (8 a.m. to 9 a.m.) and lunch (11:30 a.m. to noon) in the Wayland-Cohocton Middle School Cafeteria through Aug. 10th. No qualifications or paperwork are required. Enter at the Middle School doors (under the clock) on the Wayland campus. Children may walk or ride their bikes if they are an appropriate age to do so. Meals must be eaten in the cafeteria. Adults are welcome to accompany children and bring along a snack or lunch for themselves. ‘22-’23 PreK Families: Please submit your responses to the ThoughtExchange survey emailed to you last week. If you have already submitted your responses, you may want to take another look to see what others have had to say as you can “rate” their responses as well. We appreciate you taking the time to respond as it allows us to make improvements in upcoming years.

We hope the Senior Class and their loved ones will join us for the special reflective time. Baccalaureate Service honoring graduates of the Class of 2023 on Thursday, June 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Springwater Church of the Nazarene, 8498 Indian Valley Road, Springwater. The 2022-23 Athletic Awards Ceremony is just one day away! We hope to see you on Monday June 12th in the Performing Arts Center to celebrate all of our athletic accomplishments from the past year. Things will get underway starting at 6:00 pm. Stay afterwards to enjoy desserts and drinks while taking pictures or talking with friends and family.

Attention Class of 2023! Get those GRAD BASH Contracts turned in if you want to take part in this annual fun event. The deadline has been extended to Friday, June 9th but you must submit a contract ahead of time to go! Seniors, if you have questions, please reach out to the information on the form or the HS office.

This evening, Monday, May 8th, the Board of Education will host the annual public hearing on the 2023-2024 School Budget that will go before voters on Tuesday, May 16th. The hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the LGI. (Enter at the glass atrium adjacent to the LGI.)

Don't forget Family Swim is Back on April 28th from 6 to 8 p.m.$5 per person. Children two and under are free, non-swimmers must have an adult in the water with them; 12 and under must have an adult in the pool area. Feel free to bring any US Coast Guard-approved flotation devices. (Depending on attendance, there may be a lane open for lap swim.)

April is Autism Awareness Month! Wear Blue on Thursday, April 20th to recognize the unique and special differences that make us all wonderful. If you would like to learn more about autism or learn how you can get involved with a Kindness Campaign - check out the Autism Speaks website at https://www.autismspeaks.org/world-autism-month.
