Wayland-Cohocton is currently experiencing issues with its bulk email and communication system. WCCS Middle School is launching a new program Passport To Success. Presenters will talk with students about various careers. The first presentation is Thursday, November 18 during 13th period. Aimee Landino, a WCCS graduate, will present her job as a physical therapist. If your middle school student has interest in the health/medical field, or is ready to explore this interesting field of work, please have them sign up in the Middle School office before Thursday afternoon.

WC Theater Group's production of Robin Hood and His Merry Men will have limited seating. Each participating student will receive four tickets for each performance to share with family and friends. WCCS apologizes that this performance cannot be open to the public at this time. This event will not be live-streamed.
Don't forget tonight's Musical Production at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center: All Together Now! is a musical revue and features songs from MI's beloved catalogue if musicals including Annie, Come From Away, Disney's Frozen, Disney's Beauty and the Best, Little Shop of Horros, Godspell, Hairspray, Disney and Cameron MackIntosh's Mary Poppins, Junie B. Jones the Musical and Newsies!

The Wayland-Cohocton afternoon elementary bus run is currently loading students and we expect the busses to pull out at about 4:10 p.m. Please be patient. Your students will be home later than expected, but safely.
Wayland-Cohocton Students! Get those Chromebooks charged and bring them with you the first day of school so you are prepared for classroom learning! Third and Fourth graders in particular - bring your Chromebook AND charger with you - your grades will be getting new Chromebooks on the first day of school, provided you have your current Chromebook to swap.

Cohocton PreK School and Wayland-Cohocton Elementary: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Middle School and High School: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Stay for the full time - or make it a quick visit. If you have received an acceptance letter with enrollment packet for your Wayland-Cohocton three year old PreK student YOU MUST RETURN THE PACKET IMMEDITELY TO SECURE YOUR CHILD'S SPOT. Paperwork should be returned to Central Registrar Stephanie Pickard. The District has a waiting list and will begin inviting those students for unfilled slots. Middle School Open House is Tuesday September 7th 5:30-7:30.
Students will pick up a packet with their schedules upon arrival of open house. You may check out your classes (follow your schedule) and teachers that night as well. Questions please call the Middle School Office.
Transportation will be available for all PreK4- 12 students requiring it. Face coverings are required for ALL individuals riding District transportation. This is congruent with current public transportation procedures. The District will be providing pick-up times once bus runs have been established. (Excerpt from 8/19/21 communication)
