Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):

The FAFSA form allows students to request federal grants, work-study and loans, all in one application.  It is required for the college application process.  Additional resources to assist you as you complete this process are linked below:

Step 1:

Create your FSA ID for your FAFSA Form. The student and at least one parent will need to have their own FSA ID in order to complete the FAFSA Form. The FSA ID is your legal signature and shouldn't be created or used by anyone other than you

New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP):

The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) helps eligible New York residents pay tuition at approved schools in New York State. Depending on the academic year in which you begin study, an annual TAP award can be up to $5,165. Because TAP is a grant, it does not have to be paid back.
