Nominations and selections will be made from one of the three categories:

ATHLETICS: Athletes are eligible for nomination a minimum of ten years after their graduating class year. Achievements must be from their high school years while attending Wayland High School, Cohocton High School or Wayland-Cohocton High School.

COACHES: Coaches must have coached in the Wayland School District, Cohocton School District or Wayland-Cohocton School District for a minimum of ten years.

SPECIAL CONTRIBUTORS: Individuals that have made special contributions to the Wayland School District, Cohocton School District or Wayland-Cohocton Central School District athletic program that are extraordinary and outstanding. This category is left to the discretion of the members of the committee.

No more than five inductees will be selected in one year. Any nomination received by the committee will remain on the ballot for three years.
