Wayland-Cohocton Music Department announces that the Eagles Marching Band will march in the Memorial Day parades throughout the school district on Monday, May 26th, 2025. Under the direction of Mr. Lynn and Mr. North (band) and Mrs. Newfang (color guard), the students will join others in parades and ceremonies to honor men and women who have died while serving in the US military. Memorial Day is a day of solemn reflection and remembrance.
We hope to see you along the parade routes cheering on the Marching Eagles and at the ceremonies while we observe the traditions of each community and reflect on the service of others.

The schedule for Monday, May 26th, 2025, for band and color guard members is as follows:
8 am: Band and Color Guard members report to school
8:40 am: North Cohocton cemetery service
9:15 am: Cohocton parade and ceremony (firehall to cemetery)
10 am: Perkinsville parade and ceremony (firehall to cemetery)
11 am: Wayland parade and ceremony (Rogers & Tenbrooks to cemetery)
12 pm: Springwater parade and ceremony (American Legion)
1 pm: Approximate return to school
Students are reminded to bring adequate water and snacks for the morning.
