Wayland-Cohocton Central School announces that the period for submitting petitions for Board of Education candidacy is open. The Board of Education Candidacy Packet is available in the District Office between the hours of 9 am to 3 p.m. Please contact District Clerk Kathryn Gelser if you have any questions or require an alternate time to pick up a packet. She can be reached at kgelser@wccsk12.org or by calling (585) 213-4303. All paperwork must be submitted by Monday, April 20th, 2026 by 5 p.m. to the District Office. Please review the packet carefully.
There is one (1) five-year term (July 1, 2026 to June 30th, 2031) and one (1) one-year term (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027) open that will be included on the annual school budget and board candidate vote on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026.
