Tuesday, May 19th is a busy in New York State school districts as it is the annual vote for school budget and board of education candidates. Wayland-Cohocton information is posted below:
2026-2027 SCHOOL BUDGET AND BOARD OF EDUCATION VOTE:
Tuesday, May 19th, 10 am to 8 pm
Large Group Instruction Room (LGI), Wayland Campus
A person is entitled to vote who is:
A citizen of the United States,
Eighteen (18) years of age or older,
A resident of the District for a period of thirty (30) days preceding the vote.

TIMBER FRAME CONSTRUCTION:
Once again, the Timber Frame class is planning to raise the frame on Tuesday, May 19th. This year’s project will be built at The Vincent House and features a handicap-accessible design and pays homage to the history of The Vincent House. Although smaller than some of the projects in order to fit the space, it makes up for its size with intricate details in the roof system. If you stop by to observe the construction, please respect the appropriate privacy of The Vincent House. Please park in the lot across from the St. Joseph’s Church on Second Avenue and Freemont Street.
