Please remember to encourage our Eagle Marching Bands with your applause as they pass down the street. Also, please remember it is customary to remove your hats, stand if you are able to, place your hand over your heart and pause any conversation when the flag passes by in a parade. Memorial Day is a somber remembrance of those who have given their lives in military service. Formerly known as Decoration Day, the remembrance day was intended to encourage communities and families to decorate the graves of those who were deceased during their service in the US Military.
