Cast and Crew of Help Desk

Wayland-Cohocton held graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2021 on Sunday, June 27th. In a dramatic year of remote learning, changing health regulations and disrupted traditions, the Class of 2021 was able to celebrate with the traditional ceremony in the fieldhouse. 

Opening remarks were made by Superintendent Eileen Feinman followed by the National Anthem performed by senior Jack Mulford. A welcome address was given by High School Principal Jason Oliver followed by presentations to the Valedictorian Kailey Johnson and Salutatorian Jack Mulford. Mr. Oliver recognized students with special achievements, including laude recognitions, freshmen mentors, class officers, National Honor Society members, National Technical Honor Society members and those students earning a Career and Technical Endorsement. Mr. Oliver also recognized students going into service including Allie L. Chapman (National Guard), Maximus Markle (National Guard), Trevor Obrochta (Air Force), Devin Redsicker (Army). 

Valedictorian Kailey Ann Johnson (faculty-selected speaker) and Salutatorian (student-selected speaker) gave the student commencement speeches. The Robert J. Cownie Spirit of the Golden Eagle Award was presented by Mr. Oliver to Sierra Ani Bowers and Matthew J. Burritt. 

Diplomas were presented to the Class of 2021 by Board of Education President Rich Rizzier, Superintendent Eileen Feinman and HS Principal Jason Oliver. The following graduates are members of the Class of 2021:
