Dansville and Wayland-Cohocton Central School Districts have entered into discussions to explore the potential benefits of a football merger at the Junior Varsity and Varsity levels.
Each district will conduct a public forum for players, parents and community members with presentations from coaches and school administrators. The WCCSD forum is scheduled for Tuesday, July 13, at 6:00 pm in the WCCS Performing Arts Center. The DCSD forum is scheduled for Wednesday, July 14, at 6:00 pm in the Dansville High School gymnasium.
If the merger is approved by both school boards and Section V, the merged team will take the field together in September, 2021.
