General Program Information:

Wayland-Cohocton Central School District offers a PreK Program free of charge for three-year and four-year old children who live in the district. Wayland-Cohocton’s goal for the PreK School is to have a high quality early learning program for all children interested in attending.

Wayland-Cohocton PreK 3 students will learn through discovery, which includes a focus on child-directed activities. The PreK 4 program works in collaboration with ProAction Head Start and offers a PreK Program for four-year old children who live in the district. This is a curriculum and play-based program that helps to develop children's social and emotional development and foundational skills for learning.

The Kindergarten program is located at the Wayland-Cohocton Elementary School on the Wayland Campus.  This curriculum-based program starts their K-12 learning space with a fun and nurturing environment in which to learn.
