Wayland-Cohocton Families are reminded that students in grades 5-8 will take the NYS ELA exam on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 25th and 26th, and will be using their Chromebooks. Please make sure Chromebooks are put on their chargers this evening and brought to school in the morning. Thank you.

Wayland-Cohocton Bus 45 is running late. It has experienced a mechanical issue while on route. Students already on the bus will be transferred to another bus and those still at home will be picked up but it will be as many as 30 minutes late. Breakfast will be provided for those students when they arrive. Everyone on the bus is safe.

Wayland-Cohocton’s lockdown system has been activated and for precautionary measures, we are calling 911 to assure the safety of our students and staff. We do not have evidence of a direct or imminent threat. We are just being precautionary. The administration is currently working to clear classrooms and cafeterias.
