WCCS Kindergarten Families: We have looked at the most recent weather and decided to have the Kindergarten Field Day as scheduled. As we all know weather can be very unpredictable, and as a safety plan we will have buses stay on site in case the weather changes unexpectedly. Thank you for your patience as we monitored the weather to make a decision, it is greatly appreciated.

The Timber Frame STEAM class spent some time Friday scoping out their work for the installation of the newest Wayland-Cohocton designed and built pavilion. This one will be erected on Monday on Main Street in the Village of Wayland. The original installation date was to be Tuesday, May 21st but due to weather concerns, the group will work on Monday, May 20th. The most exciting work, according to teacher Rob Hughes, will occur in the morning as large beams are hoisted into place with the boom truck and the structure begins to take shape. Stop down and see the kids at work. The class asks that observers stay outside of the work area for safety reasons, but are welcome to bring a chair and watch as the class works.
